At the opening dinner in Washington DC of AESAONE, the cultural and sports festival created to promote Ethiopian unity that took place in July 2013, Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi pledged his continuing support for the initiative which is actively designed to be non-partisan and non-political.

Mr Al Amoudi is committed to assisting the youth of Ethiopia because they represent the future and they hold such great potential. As a result, this is where he will continue to invest his philanthropic resources.

He was joined at the dinner by 1976 and 1980 Olympic gold medal winner Mirutz Yifter, and by Adane Girma, a key member of the Ethiopian national football team aiming for a place in the 2014 World Cup.
